I am pleased to announce the continuation of The Thurrock SSP Dance Academy. The purpose of this academy is to give interested, active students further opportunities to access high quality dance instruction in addition to the two hours of Physical Education and School Sport that is already provided in their schools. We expect all students that access our development centres to demonstrate the highest levels of sportsmanship and behaviour.
Sessions are tutored by Dancemode Essex. “Our aim is to encourage and develop children’s dance skills in all key stages, using the latest music and dance moves that relate with youth culture of today. Dance is an important medium for children to actively improve co-ordination and social skills. By teaching in a safe and familiar environment, children are encouraged to learn as well as develop confidence and self esteem”
