Key Steps Gymnastics
St Cleres School played host to the KS1 and KS2 Key Steps Gymnastics Competition yesterday. Teams from Little Thurrock and Woodside Primary battled it out for the chance to represent Thurrock in the Essex Summer Games at Basildon Sporting Village on Thursday 28th June.
We saw some amazing performances from the gymnasts and it was clear they had been practicing their routines hard. The judges awarded 1 perfect 10 for Mia from Little Thurrock on the body management element of the competition, truly exception performance from her.
The results were as follows:
Year 1/2
1st Little Thurrock 92.3
2nd Woodside A 86.2
3rd Woodside B 73
Year 3/4
1st Little Thurrock A 107.7
2nd Little Thurrock B 103
3rd Woodside A 98.8
4th Woodside 82.9

Thurrock Lawn Tennis club kindly hosted the Thurrock SSP year 3/4 tennis festival yesterday. Teams from Little Thurrock and Warren Primary participated with leaders from William Edwards School officiating all the matches.
