Oh What A Night!

350 pupils waiting nervously backstage. A trained BTEC Technical crew on hand. Guest artists sharing their enthusiasm and energy with younger kids. Shattered looking Dance staff running around to make sure all is going to plan.......... It must be the annual Gable Hall School Dance Show.

This event never fails to amaze its audience with the shear quality and standard of pieces produced, and this year was no different. The staff and pupils had obviously put their heart and soul into the work on display, as well as a great deal of time. The range of styles and groups was constantly changing and included dances that involved the whole of year 7 and 8, clubs, GCSE, BTEC and AS level work. There were also guest appearances from ex- pupils, community groups and Kayzar Dance Group. What a show!

The pupils had a fantastic time both on stage and off, and clearly gained in confidence over the two nights. The performance played to packed audiences who clearly appreciated the hard work and commitment of those involved. A huge congratulations to all involved!
