Thurrock SSP Cheerleading Festival
On Monday 17th May Thurrock SSP's Cheerleading Festival was held for the 2nd year running at South Essex College - Thurrock Campus. The festival was divided into two sessions.
The first session consisted of pupils from the following schools:-
- Abbots Hall Primary School
- Benyon Primary School
- Manor Infant School
- Corringham Primary School
Each routine was carefully choreographed, many of which by Fay Morgan who has been working in our schools.
The later session saw pupils perform from:-
- Lansdowne Primary School
- Stifford Primary School
- Giffards Primary School
- East Tilbury Infant School
In total, 138 pupils performed and 'shook' their pom poms to the latest music and had a fantastic time.
Let's hope next year the festival is even better with more schools taking part!

Thurrock Lawn Tennis club kindly hosted the Thurrock SSP year 3/4 tennis festival yesterday. Teams from Little Thurrock and Warren Primary participated with leaders from William Edwards School officiating all the matches.
