Score for Simunye Competition
'Score for Simunye' is an exciting World Cup competition open to Connecting Classrooms schools.
Not only is the competition an exciting activity for students to work on with but they also got the chance to show off their creative skills with the chance to win iPods, flipcams and Lakeside vouchers!
Over the past couple of weeks, students from the William Edwards School & Sports College have been working hard to design posters, write poems and consider what 'togetherness' means to them.
Below are the two winning posters/poems that have been sent off to the British Council as the school's entry to the national competition. Good luck lads!

Thurrock Lawn Tennis club kindly hosted the Thurrock SSP year 3/4 tennis festival yesterday. Teams from Little Thurrock and Warren Primary participated with leaders from William Edwards School officiating all the matches.
