I graduated from Loughborough University in 2005 with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Sports Science with Management, I then went on to complete my PGCE in PE at Loughborough University in 2006.

I previously worked at Woodbrook Vale High School in Loughborough teaching PE.

I joined Thurrock SSP as a full time SSCo in January 2007 and in September 2010 I took over as Partnership Development Manager.

With changes in Government Funding for School Sports Partnership and the redundancy of the PDM role I took on the new position of School Games Organiser in 2011.  I now teach 2 days a week at William Edwards School alongside my 3 day SGO role.

I played Hockey for Leicester county many moons ago and have an NNEB diploma in childcare.

i have had interactions with the SSP since 2019 with Harris Primary Chafford Hundred & now supporting Alexa with the running of SSP events.

I have just taken on a new role at Treetops as a Child and Adult workforce school therapist.

I have specialism in primary PE and a collection of more than 30 National Governing Body qualifications, I’m committed to delivering high‑quality, engaging sport and activity sessions for all children. Always looking to gain knowledge and experience new opportunities.
